Train like an athlete
In 2017, I started a new program called Advocare. What I didn't know before I started was how the products would help to change my views of diet and exercise. Let me back up a little bit.
As someone who has to WORK at the whole weight loss/gain battle constantly, I've had my shares of ups and downs on the scale. My metabolism has never been "good" to help me keep off the pounds. When losing weight in the past, I would turn to Weight Watchers. Some of you might remember when I lost weight before Abby was born (seems like forever ago). Counting points was easy and comfortable-but the program has gone through changes. I tried to go back last year with some minimal success.
A friend told me about Advocare and I was skeptical at first. HOW MANY DIET PROGRAMS EXIST!? If you talk to anyone about what they are trying these days it's "low carb" "low fat" "gluten free" "counting calories" "atkins" "weight watchers" .....the list could go on and on. There's the BeachBody stuff and the "It Works" stuff....was Advocare just another one of these I would pay money for and not be successful?
I committed with the intent of checking out the products. I liked that I could try some or all of the products and didn't have to purchase a $1000 plan right away! I could customize and see what would work for me. The first round in 2017 helped me lose a few pounds, but mostly inches! Gave me a ton of energy (that was unexpected) too! I was eating cleaner and enjoying how good I felt while training for my Fall Marathon. I loved the sugar free energy boost from their Spark product. I loved the refreshing feeling after a hard workout with the Rehydrate.
That first try through, my relationship with diet and exercise changed. I felt like a stronger athlete. I used food to help fuel me in my runs and become stronger. I decided that a few extra pounds was fine with me because everyone is built differently. I no longer longed to be a size 8 supermodel. I could just be me. This was HUGE! I'm so glad Advocare helped me find my inner athlete!
Fast Forward through the holidays 2017 and Disney vacation 2018 (weight gain all throughout). It was time to commit again to begin February 1 and I turned to Advocare. Ryan joined this time with me for the 10 day cleanse. I decided to become a distributor. I promise not to be the saleswoman that BUGS you to BUY all the time. If you want to give any of the products a try, just let me know. If you already buy Spark (I have heard a lot of educators and first responders drink it!)-please use my link and help me out!

If you have questions, please just ask or check out the website and the products!
P.S. I love how Advocare is the products used by Major League Soccer too! What a cool endorsement!
